DAY 1 HIGHLIGHT

Arrive & Explore

Hit the ground running (or walking) as you start you trip with an exploration of some of San Francisco’s most iconic landmarks. End your first day with an elegant dinner cruise that lets you enjoy a four-course gourmet meal as well as nighttime views of Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the city skyline.

DAY 2 HIGHLIGHT

The Grove at Copia

After venturing to Napa Valley, enjoy a customized front and back of the house experience at The Grove at Copia, one the Culinary Institute of America’s acclaimed restaurants. The prix fixe menu features garden-fresh, seasonal meals prepared by CIA chefs. It’s the perfect way to kick off your culinary tour of wine country.

DAY 3 HIGHLIGHT

Mediterranean
Boot Camp

Don your chef’s jacket and go to work! Under the guided supervision of Chef Instructors from the Culinary Institute of America, you will learn to cook, bake, and think like a professional chef—all while preparing an amazing lunch in one of the CIA’s professional test kitchens.

DAY 4 HIGHLIGHT

Go Big
at Le Petit

What’s better than world-class food that you’ve prepared under the watchful eye of CIA instructors? How about allowing the CIA chefs to use their creativity and imagination to whisk you back to a time of Marco Polo’s exploration of the Silk Road during a 3D dining experience at Le Petit Chef. This six-course masterpiece of cuisine coupled with animation and storytelling are truly a one-of-a-kind culinary experience not to be missed.

DAY 5 HIGHLIGHT

Experience the Majesty
of a Modern Wonder

Take a walk across one of America’s iconic sites—the historic Golden Gate Bridge. Your Course Leader will bring the history of San Francisco to life during this 1.7-mile meander across one of the Wonders of the Modern World. Make sure you have room for all the stunning digital photos of the bay and San Francisco’s skyline, as there is no better view.

DAY 6 & 7 HIGHLIGHT

City Lights
and Safe Flights

To round out your experience, we’ll arrange a Chef’s Table dinner complete with small bites and big flavor. Placing focus squarely on the food and the dining experience, the chef of a local gastropub will discuss each dish as you enjoy this culmination to the culinary tour.
